There is more scandal brewing over at American Idol and the season has barely started.

The premise of Lyndsey’s article is that Carly Smithson nee Carly Hennessey is a former teen pop star who despite the backing of MCA and the expenditure of several million dollars could not sell any records and should not be allowed to compete against inexperienced singers.

Do you guys think it is fair that Carly be allowed to compete in American Idol?

New photos of Disney star and Hannah Montana’s, Miley Cyrus, have been making the rounds on the internet this week.  Looks like Miley’s friends have been shairng some private moments a la Vanessa Hudgens.  14 year old Miley says she just likes to hang out with her friends and there’s nothing to worry about.  The media has been watching Miley like a hawk lately and saying her image is a little too adult.
