Rapper 50 Cent Settles NY Visitation Issue

Rapper 50 Cent has reached a settlement with his ex-girlfriend over visitation of their 11-year-old son.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, will get one weekend per month with his son Marquise, as well as one month in the summer and half of each his winter and spring breaks.
Both sides say they are satisfied with the deal, which was reached Wednesday in Suffolk County Family Court in Central Islip, New York.
The boy and his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, had been living in the Long Island community of Dix Hills when a fire destroyed the mansion last May. An arson investigation is ongoing.

At a celebration/concert for Prince’s new book, late night had turned into early morning, the bar was closing and party organizers were deciding what decorations to pack up first.
But Prince was still on stage — and still captivating the exclusive group of about 200 fans who had gathered in an intimate penthouse loft to hear him perform.
Though he had taken about a two-hour break between sets, Prince was entering hour four in what would become a nearly five-hour musical extravaganza that not only included his own seminal hits like “Purple Rain” and “Little Red Corvette,” but also interpretations of music from Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and even Janet Jackson and India.Arie for good measure. (Fans paid $1,000 for the first jam session and $300 for the second: Proceeds went to charity.)
Don Cornelius Arrested: Busted for Domestic Violence

That’s because the venerable creator and one-time host of “Soul Train” was arrested on domestic violence charges Friday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said they responded to a radio call for domestic abuse at his Mulholland Drive home at 7:15 p.m. and arrested the 72-year-old Cornelius.
He was released from a LAPD jail Saturday morning after posting $50,000 bail and faces felony domestic violence charges, police said.

The R&B singer has christened herself “Sasha Fierce” for her new double album, “I Am … Sasha Fierce,” due in U.S. stores on November 18, and has released a lengthy justification for the comical moniker.
“I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am,” the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman said in a statement.
“Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage.”
