Kanye Arrested Again

Kanye West’s love may not be the only thing that needs to be put on lockdown—his fists might also want to consider it.
The rapper was arrested on suspicion of assault in Newcastle, England, early this morning, after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a paparazzo.
Northumbria Police have confirmed to E! News that a 31-year-old man was arrested and released without charge and that no further action will be taken. West was not identified by name—per U.K. police policy, arrestees aren’t publicly named unless formally charged.
Rather uncharacteristically, West has yet to publicly comment or air any grievances on his blog. Likewise, Mercury Records, West’s U.K. label, has announced it won’t be issuing a statement on the matter.
This makes the second time this year West managed to escape charges for an alleged shutterbug smackdown, having been involved in a similar melee at Los Angeles International Airport in September.

Michael Jackson Being Sued By Arab Sheikh in UK Court

The son of an Arab monarch took the King of Pop to court Monday, charging that Michael Jackson took $7 million as an advance on an album and an autobiography that he never produced.
Lawyers for Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa say their client paid Jackson expenses as an advance on the book and joint recording project with the sheikh, who is an amateur songwriter. Jackson claims the money was a gift. Read more

“Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends,” a source close to Hilton, 27, tells Us.
“Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of her friends,” the source tells Us. “Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.”
The couple stayed faithful to each other, stresses the source. Hilton was spotted with her ex, shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, in Miami over the weekend, while Madden, 29, hung in NYC with his bro, Joel (beau of Hilton’s best friend, Nicole Richie). Read more
