La Toya Jackson, sister of pop star Michael Jackson, is making diva demands on the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ show and is asking for a clause in her contract banning cameras from filming her without make-up in the morning.

According to mirror.co.uk, the executives refused that, but have agreed to a 103,000 pounds fee.
A source said: “It was a remarkable request. ‘Big Brother’ is a 24/7 environment where everything is caught on film and the request was a bit much. La Toya is clearly very conscious of her appearance, but producers couldn’t accommodate the request as it was a bit unfair to the other contestants to say the least.”
She and her brother Michael have had surgeries and their looks have changed remarkably since the 70s.
A source added: “Not only does she look very similar to Michael – she even sounds like him with her squeaky, high-pitched voice.”
La Toya has been given slightly preferential treatment.
“It should come as no surprise that La Toya is in one of the best rooms. Producers tried to suggest that the bedrooms were on a first-come, first-served basis, but they were well aware that La Toya was going to be the first celebrity entering the ‘Big Brother’ house. To suggest that this is a coincidence is a bit much.”

According to reports, the grieving star was to make her first public appearance ever since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew in October (08), at the event.
Rumours that the 27-year-old Hudson would be singing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Obama’s inauguration have been dispelled by her representative.
“There is no truth to this,” Contactmusic quoted Hudson’s rep as saying.
Hudson will be making her first public appearance in February, when she pays tribute to Neil Diamond at the MusiCares Person of the Year event in Los Angeles.
She is also expected to attend the Grammys, after having been nominated for several Grammys for her self-titled debut album.

Pop star Michael Jackson is leaving his share of the Beatles back catalogue to Sir Paul McCartney in his will, which, he hopes, may end an almost 24-year-long feud with the legendary rocker
January 5, 2009 by Editorial Staff · Leave a Comment
Macca was upset with Jackson when he outbid him in 1985 to win the ownership of the 350 million-pound publishing rights for the whole Lennon-McCartney songbook.
However, Jackson, who is reportedly struggling with a serious genetic lung disease, wants to make peace.
He has drawn up a new will where McCartney will get control of the Beatles songbook when Jackson dies.
Sources close to Jackson said he always regretted having a falling out with McCartney.
“Michael is worried about his health so decided it was time to look at his finances,” the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.
“Most of his estate has been divided up between his three children. But Michael told his lawyers he was sad he no longer talks to Sir Paul and said he wanted to make things right.
“Michael is suffering serious back and leg pain and has for a few years. He gets spasms in his back which means he spends a lot of time in bed and a wheelchair.
“He weighs just over seven stone and is very frail. He’s also had a nasty bout of emphysema and there have been reports he has another lung disease,” the source added.

John Travolta says he did everything he could to keep Jett alive
January 5, 2009 by Editorial Staff · Leave a Comment
Sixteen-year-old Jett, who had a history of seizures arising from the rare condition Kawasaki Disease, had been found unconscious on January 2 by caretaker Jeff Katharain.
He is thought to have died after hitting his head on a bathtub following a seizure in a hotel bathroom on a family holiday in the Bahamas.
The 54-year-old grieving father had come in shortly and administered CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) – an emergency medical procedure- on his son, who was later pronounced dead at a Freeport hospital.
“I tried the kiss of life for about 20 minutes. I wouldn’t give up. Jeff gave Jett CPR,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
“I did everything I could to keep Jett alive. The paramedics took over from me when they arrived,” he added.
Travolta’s lawyer Michael McDermott revealed the measures taken to ensure that Jett was properly looked after.
He said: “John and Kelly had everything possible set up for an emergency in Jett’s life. Jeff slept 8ft from Jett. There was a baby monitor right next to him in his bed. And a chimer attached to the bathroom door announced when Jett was going in. All this was because he was prone to seizures”.
It is yet to be determined whether Jett fell to the floor as a result of a seizure or he had a seizure after falling or slipping.
An autopsy is due to be performed on Jett to determine the cause of his death.
