TI & Tiny Arrested In LA

According to the Associated Press, rapper/actor T.I. was arrested for drug charges with his wife Tiny Cottle while inside a vehicle. It is unclear if they were passengers or drivers and who was at the wheel, but all people in the vehicle can be brought up on charges for affiliation alone. Traveling with people in a vehicle with drugs, hidden or exposed is a major crime and can lead to jail time of all parties in vehicle regardless of age.

The incident that was reported last night is as follows, cops believe they smelled a strong substance coming from the vehicle and pulled over the two and arrested them this past Wednesday night. T.I. just married Tiny Cottle, his long time girlfriend from the former million dollar hit group, ‘Excape’ and tv personality of hit show Tiny & Toya on BET. The show was expected to make a comeback, but this incident could change everything.

Due to leaked pics on the net prior to this incident from a media site suggesting the two may have had a passenger in the backseat smoking, plenty of cops may have been waiting for the opportunity to pull the rapper over for anything. According to gang music heard and streamed on Hip Hop sites from point of entry, some will even take a cash advance on the spot from rappers and let them go if the money is right. This information is also, hidden in a surge of urban books leaking secrets of the hood.

There is a possibility that there may not have been any paraphernalia in T.I.’s vehicle and the couple are a target as well thanks to some very suspect pics of Tiny Tottle released by a media site that assume that the tv personality may be under the influence of drugs. Resources in the HIP HOP community state it is very unlikely T.I. would risk his millions of dollars and going back to jail with so many great things happening from his movie ‘Takers’ to a smash duet with artists like Keri Hilson. ‘

Others may say he’s better off in jail as a danger to himself because like the late Tupac Shakur everyone is after something in his camp and who knows if he’ll be able to trust anyone. If he goes back to jail, at least his new wife, Tiny Tottle can properly handle his money. A second offense could lead to his maximum jail term of 10 years being that he was let out for probation on good terms for a serious offence.

It appears that media glorifies Hip Hop artists and then bring them down or they bring themselves down. Practically every rapper has been in trouble with the law. Most come with the territory. My final question is did America legalize use of drugs in some states and if so should penalties be as harsh for rappers whose track record shows they can’t produce or cut albums without controlled substances. I mean who would write those crazy lyrics and go on tour risking being killed by goons with a sane mind? The industry may be partly responsible. They all look glamorous and in control of their lives, but who knows what is going on and what the industry is doing to these rappers.Anyways buying T.I.’s past albums and seeing the movie TAKERS one more time just in case it’s pulled at the Box Office. I was just looking up to him as a modern day Baby Scarface, but using drugs doesn’t authenticate him as a role model to America. He needs to apologize to all of the kids and clean up his act and Tiny Cottle should be the one to tell her husband, “GET YOUR HEAD RIGHT!” Disappointed.
