Now the star has teamed up with pal and professional juicer Eric Helm to create Cooler Cleanse, a three- or five-day juice detox  delivery program. Crystal Renn’s Weight Loss Update

Oh oh! Looks like the ‘plus-size model’ label is completely OUT when it comes to Crystal Renn, since the “Hunger” author appears to have lost even more weight, as these new pictures reveal. Let’s see the explanation from NY Mag: Ford posted photos of Crystal Renn posing in a Fashion for Passion tank, sales of which benefit photographer Nicholas Routzen’s campaign for children and the arts. The blogosphere is shocked by how much weight she appears to have lost, especially after she looked to have lost weight before walking in the last Chanel cruise show, which was huge for her career. Crystal’s agent Gary Dakin was contacted and he said: “She is still a 39-40 hip (she fluctuates like any woman), and a solid size 10. She has no urge [to lose weight]. She’s an amazing model. She can make herself look bigger or smaller depending on what the client wants.” Definitely not looking like a 10 in the above pictures! So what is it? “Sexiest woman in the world” Cheryl Cole recently opened up about her diet and workout – let’s see what she has to say: On Her Diet Plan: ‘I watch what I eat, not to stay slim but to feel good,’ she said. ‘Recently my mother told me about Eat Right 4 Your Type, in which you’re told what to eat and what to avoid depending on your blood type. It has made such a difference – not so much to my shape, but to how I feel and my energy levels. Before I was like ‘energy schmenergy’ and didn’t believe it. But now I believe it 100 per cent. ‘My only trouble is that I can’t do without sugar,’ she said. ‘I think I might have some sort of sugar imbalance. Sometimes I feel like I just need a chocolate bar. To be honest you can’t put yourself under that much pressure, so I don’t deny myself anything. Nas, Damian Marley to Perform on BET’s Haiti Telethon

Nas and Jamaican reggae artist Damian “Junior Gong” Marley are scheduled to perform on BET’s ‘SOS Saving Ourselves – Help for Haiti’ telethon benefit this coming Friday (Feb 5.) The two-hour special marks the duo’s first televised performance since joining forces for their new album, ‘Distant Relatives,’ due this spring. Sean “Diddy” Combs, Queen Latifah and Pharrell Williams will host the event, while Mary J. Blige, Ludacris and Ne-Yo and Haitian artist and activist Wyclef Jean will take the stage. “I believe it is our duty to come together and help our brothers and sisters in Haiti, especially now, in their greatest hour of need,” said Diddy, in a statement about the benefit. Watch the “SOS Saving Ourselves – Help For Haiti” benefit concert, which airs live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, on Feb. 5 at 8PM ET, on BET. …

Lil Wayne, Kanye and Drake Bring Hip-Hop Presence to ‘We Are the World’ Remake

According to early reports, rappers Lil Wayne, Kanye West, LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg have been picked to contribute to the remake of the 1985 world peace anthem, ‘We Are the World.’ On Monday, more than eighty of today’s biggest star’s gathered at the Jim Henson Studio and Soundstage in Hollywood, the site of the original ‘We Are the World’ recording. The remake, ‘We Are the World – 25 for Haiti’ brings a new rap presence to the original track, which was largely made up of classic rock stars like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon. Smokey Robinson, part of the song’s first supergroup, revealed that none of the track’s original performers will sing on the new version. Drake, Busta Rhymes, Nipsey Hussle, T-Pain, Bizzy Bone, Kid Cudi, and Swizz Beatz round out the rappers, announced thus far, in the song’s 21st century choir. Originally penned by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, the remake marks the 25th anniversary of the taping to benefit hunger in Africa. According to Richie, Janet Jackson will be singing Michael Jackson’s part from the original version, which she is recording today, and more artists are expected to join the diverse mix. The end result will premier during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies on Feb. 12, with all proceeds going towards Haitian earthquake relief efforts. … Young pop stars mark another interesting addition to the track. Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are sharing the stage alongside pop legends Barbra Streisand , the Beach Boys ‘ Brian Wilson and Carlos Santana . While country acts like Best New Artist Grammy-winner Zac Brown and Sugarland sing alongside R&B artists Brandy , Melanie Fiona, Mya , Musiq Soulchild , Trey Songz and Faith Evans . Natalie Cole , the members of Heart , Harry Connick Jr. , Earth, Wind & Fire ; Tony Bennett ; ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ film score composer A.R. Rahman; ‘American Idol’ judge Randy Jackson , Celine Dion and Gladys Knight also made the cut, as did others. RedOne , best known for producing for Lady Gaga, crafted the beat for the song, and discussed the experience with Rolling Stone. “I’m so delighted and so happy to get a dream call from Quincy Jones and Randy Phillips and Lionel Richie,” he said. “I know that Lionel Richie has been asked like 150-something times to redo ‘We Are the World’ and he said no to everything until this Haiti thing happened. The moment he saw that it happened he was like, OK, ‘We Are the World.’ And to be one of the people they called to have fresh input to the song, to help produce the song — I have no words.” Other on the production team include Wyclef Jean and producer-musical director Ricky Minor. “With music you want to help people feel something in a certain way, and this is something devastating that just happened and I am and we are the world,” continued RedOne. “We’re going to be helping people that we don’t know. I have Haitian friends and stuff like that, but we’re going to be helping people that need help right now.”

Chuck D to Release Compilation to Benefit Haiti Relief

Public Enemy rapper and activist Chuck D has organized a compilation album in support of the Haitian relief fund. The nine-song album is entitled ‘Kombit pou Haiti,’ which means “coming together for the good of Haiti.” It features a collection of songs by artists on his SLAMjamz label, including Son of Bazerk, Professor Griff, Haitian group Hi Coup and Chuck D. Recording and mastering costs were covered by Earle Holder of HDQRTZ, and the album artwork was provide by Kelvin Fonville. “Since many cannot be there to physically help, the gift of music is something that we realized can give for fundraising efforts,” said Mista Chuck. “There are many organizations reaching out to the call — Wyclef Jean and his Y?le Haiti, in particular, have been working tirelessly for the Haitian people for many years — we hope you support any one of these organizations. It will take an infrastructure of many to help bring Haiti back up.” All proceeds from the album’s sales will go to Lambi Fund of Haiti, working towards supporting the recovery of Haitian communities, via rebuilding local infrastructure, including sugar mills, grain mills, small businesses and re-planting crops. ‘Kombit pou Haiti’ is available on iTunes and Tunecore.
