Rapper Jay-Z has announced plans for special one-off concert to celebrate U.S. President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration into the White House.

jay z 300x280 Rapper Jay Z has announced plans for special one off concert to celebrate U.S. President elect Barack Obamas inauguration into the White House.The hip-hop icon is set to team up with concert promoter Live Nation for an “intimate performance” in Washington, D.C. on 19 January (09) – the day before the Democrat is sworn into office.

Jay-Z will perform with a full band at the city’s 1,847-capacity Warner Theater, reports Contactmusic.

The ’99 Problems’ hitmaker was a staunch supporter of Obama throughout his historic election.
